Friday night Allen and I went to the Grand Marlin for a 30th birthday party. We enjoyed good food and even better company!
Saturday was our 6th anniversary and we went out to dinner and then to watch Pirates of the Caribbean in 3D at the IMAX theater...
Nothing says romance like those glasses, right?

I have gone by the book, The Well-Trained Mind. They pretty much guide me step-by-step on what to do and write a lot of their own curriculum. The reading workbook is called Ordinary Parent's Guide to Teaching Reading. It has worked super well for us because it holds my hand through everything-and it has worked, which obviously is very important. LB pointed me to it. How old is Tripp? Are you thinking of homeschooling?
