I love hats. Not baseball caps, not visors, not trendy little newsboys or berets (are berets even trendy?), but delicate, flowery, lacey, girly, feminine hats! I would say it's a Southern thing, but I can assure you, when I wear a hat at Olive Baptist, I'm pretty much the only one wearing one, much to my husband's embarassment. I've repeatedly asked him to buy me a new hat every Easter and he has repeatedly declined. When I was younger, my Easter outfit was not complete until I had a hat to match it.
I had high hopes that the Royal Wedding would bring the rest of the world around. But when I walked in church the following Sunday, there wasn't a brim in sight. :-( But alas, I got an email from my sweet friend Amy, who has started a business with her sister. Any wild guesses about their newest adventure??? Drum roll please..... HATS! Olive and Jane Millinery boasts a beautiful arrary of headbands and hats and I can't stop looking at them. Seriously, I've already spotted a fascinator that's going on my wish list.
